Project Aim/ Objectives
  1. To describe the demographic characteristics, risk behaviour, contraceptive use, STIs, vaginal practices and use of vaginally applied products among sexually active females
  2. Provide on site GCP training experience to site staff for the trial- using vaginal microbicides
  3. Estimate detainment of future participant
  4. To estimate the incidence of pregnancy in the study population
Project Activities
The feasibility study for phase III TCM120 identified two new sites: The Dream centre and the Edendale Lay Ecumenical Centre. Meetings continue to be held with the management of both centres and agreements have been reached.
