Maternal Health
The Maternal Health Programme at RHRU provides support to the South African government departments involved in maternal work by responding to local, national and international and specific maternal and related issue.
The Maternal Health Programme is involved in research, policy development, implementation and evaluation of maternal interventions.
The programme has expert members who are part of different local, national and international Task Teams and Task Forces that give support on the development of a strategy to reduce maternal deaths in the country and region.
