TECHNICAL ADVISOR: CLINICAL RESEARCH

The RHRU offer an excellent career opportunity for a candidate interested in working on problems related to the sexual and reproductive health of South Africa’s people.  The working environment is multidisciplinary and the opportunity exist for further studies and training

Based in the Johannesburg office, and working with a dynamic multi-disciplinary team on an exciting programme investigating the epidemiology and interventions to control HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, the incumbent will support the planning, implementation and management of clinical research within the cluster.


Minimum requirements for appointment include:
• Post-graduate qualification and/or demonstrated record of experience and achievement in clinical research by publication record.
• Practical experience of clinical research
• A strong academic background
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
