1st Interest Workshop
International Workshop on HIV Treatment, Pathogenesis and Prevention Research in Resource-poor Settings
Uganda, 30 May - 2 June 2007
An initiative of Prof. Joep Lange, Center for Poverty-related Communicable Diseases (CPCD), Academic Medical Center, University of Amsterdam, and Dr. Charles Boucher, University Medical Center Utrecht. Chair: Prof. Elly Katabira, Makerere University, Kampala.
Program: a three-day program consisting of parallel sessions on HIV prevention and treatment with presentations of renowned invited speakers, abstract-driven presentations, and poster sessions. There will be a pre-dinner presentation on 31 May and a special World Bank session on 1 June.

A number of scholarships will be available for this workshop. Scholarships will be allocated based on the quality of the applicant's submitted abstract. Applicants are requested to submit their abstract and application before 15 March. They will be informed about the result before 6 April.
